Marine application

Salt, water spots, mineral film, and dull gelcoat need a real application sequence.

Koenig is used on compatible marine paint, gelcoat, fiberglass, metals, and clear surfaces. Loose salt and grit come off first; then the product is worked into the surface and buffed clear.

Routine marine use

Rinse → inspect → apply → work → buff.

01

Rinse loose salt and grit

Use fresh water first when salt crystals, sand, or other loose abrasive contamination is present.

02

Dry and inspect

Determine what remains: water spots, mineral deposits, oily film, oxidation, or a damaged finish.

03

Apply Koenig in sections

Shake the product and apply a controlled amount to the surface or a clean towel. Work a manageable section at a time.

04

Buff clear

Work the product with appropriate pressure, then use a clean microfiber towel for the final buff.

Oxidation level

Hand application for maintenance; machine polishing when the finish needs more correction.

Good condition / light oxidation

Koenig can be worked by hand for regular cleaning, shine, and protection on compatible surfaces.

Heavier fiberglass or gelcoat oxidation

Use Koenig with an appropriate foam polishing pad or buffer when the surface condition warrants machine correction. Severe oxidation may require a more involved restoration first.
