Remove loose grit first
Do not rub sand, ramp dust or other loose particles across paint or transparent surfaces. Rinse or gently remove loose contamination first when needed.
Koenig is marketed for aircraft bugs, bird droppings, exhaust and oil stains. The safest routine starts by removing loose grit, then working the product wet in small sections before a clean final buff.

Do not rub sand, ramp dust or other loose particles across paint or transparent surfaces. Rinse or gently remove loose contamination first when needed.
Shake Koenig and apply a controlled amount to the affected area or a clean towel. Keep the working area wet enough that you are not dry-scrubbing contamination.
Use a clean terry or microfiber towel with moderate, controlled pressure. Repeat the wet application on stubborn bug, exhaust or oily film rather than scraping.
Use a separate clean microfiber towel for the final buff. Inspect from several angles before moving to the next section.
Fresh residue is usually easier to remove. Long-neglected insect material can leave staining or etching that simple cleaning may not reverse.
Work in small sections and replace dirty towels so removed residue is not dragged across surrounding paint.
Aircraft transparencies, coatings and plastics can have manufacturer-specific care restrictions. Confirm compatibility before polishing.
